It is a simple indian dal made of yellow lentils.most of the time  kids love the moong dal and it is easy to cook and healthy too.

you can easily get this dal in any indian grocery market. so let's try 

PREPARATION TIME :10 MIN      COOKING TIME: 20 MIN
TOTAL TIME:30 MIN

                                                                                                                                                                                        INGREDIENTS:
                   MOONG DAL : HALF A CUP
                  GARLIC :1 INCH FINELY CHOPPED
                  RED DRY CHILLI : 2 IN NO.
                  ONION : ONE MEDIUM SIZED CHOPPED IN CUBIC
                  PURE GHEE : 2 TABLESPOON
                  TURMERIC POWDER : AS REQUIRED
                  KITCHEN KING : AS REQUIRED
                  HING : JUST A PINCH
                  RED CHILLI POWDER : AS REQUIRED
                  BAY LEAF : 1-2
                  CUMIN SEEDS : ONE TEA SPOON
                  CLOVE : 2-3 IN NO.
                  CARDMUM : 2 IN NO.
                  TOMATO : ONE MEDIUM SIZED

HO TO MAKE MOONG DAL FRY OR YELLOW DAL
      
METHOD : 
  • firstly in a pressure cooker add two cups of water and add washed moong dal add salt to taste and half a tea spoon turmeric powder closed the lid.
  • after 2 whistles remove from the flame and let it cool by itself
  • take a pan over flame and  add ghee 
  • add cumin, bay leaves, red dry chilli ,clove ,cardamum and pinch of hing
  • saute for 1 min add chopped garlic and onion
  • fry them till pink in colour
  • add chopped tomatoes
  • add kitchen king masala and red chilli powder
  • saute for 2-3 min 
  • add boiled yellow dal.
  • cook it for 2 min .serve it hot                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              serve it with rice or chappati,or sometimes with as a soup.                                                                                      thank you.
