Crispy Aaloo Tikki /fried matar stuffed Aaloo tikki. |
Simple and easy to cook .
Let's have a look to recipe:
Ingredients:
: Potatoes --5-6 medium sized (boiled and mashed)
: chura/chirwa/poha rice--half cup
: green pees/matar --one fourth cup
: one onion -- chopped finely
: ginger--one cm cube- chopped finely
: coriander leaves
: green chilli as your taste
: coriander powder--one fourth tea
Spoon
: cumin powder--- "
: turmeric powder-- "
: salt to taste
: chaat masala--one spoon
: ajwain/ Carum seeds--one spoon
Making stuff of matar:
- First steam the green pees just 3-4 min in a pan with water half a cup
- Heat the pan add oil one tea spoon
- Add chopped ginger ,green chillies and onion
- Fry them till pink then add steamed pees
- After 2-3 min add all the spice.
- After 2 min switch off the flame
Making dough of potatoes
- Take a bowl add mashed potatoes
- Add ajwain/Carum seeds,salt to taste,coriander leaves,remain chopped onion green chillies,and chura (washed)
- Mix it well making dough
- Apply oil over the Palm and make balls of dough as your wish size
- Take a ball and make depression over the ball and filled with fried matar or green pees,close the opening of balls
- Make it in a tikki shape of all balls
- Heat the pan apply oil and put gently tikki over the pan
- Cook till the golden brown or crisp..
Serve it with ketchup or imli chutney.
