Ingredients: Okra/bhindi--250gm
: potatoes/aaloo--4-5
medium sized
: onion-one medium sized
: ginger garlic paste-one spoon
: coriander powder--1 tea spoon
: red chilli powder--1 tea spoon
: black paper powder--1 tea spoon
: turmeric powder--1 tea spoon
: tomato-1 chopped finely
: salt to taste
; oil--4 table spoon
For seasoning:
Mustard seeds-1 tea spoon
Red dry chilli-2-3 in no.
Bay leaves -1-2 in no
Cumin seeds - half a tea spoon
Fenugreek seeds -7-8 in no.
How to cook :
- clean an cut the okra in one and half cm in length.
- boiled the potatoes.
- heat the pan with one spoon oil and saute' the okra for 3-4 min in a medium flame.
- take the boil potatoes and peels off and cut in pieces
- take the pan heat the oil two table spoon add mustard seeds,cumin seeds,fenugreek seeds,bay leaves,dry red chilli
- once the crackling started add chopped onion,garlic and ginger paste
- fry the 4-5 min then add tomatoes fry them 5 min
- add all the spices--turmeric,coriander,chilli,black paper.
- cook 2 min then add boiled potatoes after 2 min add salt
- cook another 5 min in low flame ..
- switch off the flame.serve it hot roti chapati or any bread of your wish.
