Desi style Aaloo bhindi fry / Restaurant style bhindi aaloo masala / okra crispy fry with potatoes.

OKRA MASALA / AALOO BHINDI FRY.



its a basically a north indian dish ,easy to cook full of flavours and healthy too.

kids all time favourite..can be served with hot paratha chapati or as a combination of side vegetable in lunch or diner.



so let's start cooking okra fry or bhindi fry.



   
      Ingredients: Okra/bhindi--250gm
                           : potatoes/aaloo--4-5
                                             medium sized               
                           : onion-one medium sized
                           : ginger garlic paste-one spoon

                          : coriander powder--1 tea spoon
                          : red chilli powder--1 tea spoon
                          : black paper powder--1 tea spoon
                          : turmeric powder--1 tea spoon
                          : tomato-1   chopped finely
                          : salt to taste
                          ; oil--4 table spoon


 For seasoning:
                Mustard seeds-1 tea spoon

                Red dry chilli-2-3 in no.
                Bay leaves -1-2 in no
                Cumin seeds - half a tea  spoon
                Fenugreek seeds -7-8 in no.
   





               How to cook :

  • clean an cut the okra in one and half cm in length.
  • boiled the potatoes.
  • heat the pan with one spoon oil and saute' the okra for 3-4 min in a medium flame.
  • take the boil potatoes and peels off and cut in pieces
  • take the pan heat the oil two table spoon add mustard seeds,cumin seeds,fenugreek seeds,bay leaves,dry red chilli
  • once the crackling started add chopped onion,garlic and ginger paste
  • fry the 4-5 min then add tomatoes fry them 5 min
  • add all the spices--turmeric,coriander,chilli,black paper.
  • cook 2 min then add boiled potatoes after 2 min add salt
  • cook another 5 min in low flame ..
  • switch off the flame.serve it hot roti chapati or any bread of your wish.
